The Best Spas in Washington, DC
I actually used to live in Washington, DC. During high school, it was always a dream of mine to live in DC, and so when the time came to apply for jobs after college, I set my sights on DC. I loved every minute of my time there before ultimately relocating. One of the earliest spas I ever went to was at the Montgomery Mall. Of course back then I could only afford to go with gift certificates that my roommates thoughtfully purchased for my birthday or Christmas. I can’t remember the name of the spa or even if it is still there, since that was 20 years ago. (yeah, I did just kind of date myself there).
But in the summer of 2019 I had the opportunity to pursue some continuing education at American University. So naturally, I had to check out the spas while I was in town. I compiled this list doing my own research and correlating it with rankings across a number of review platforms, as well as local guides and articles and including Best Spas from Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Poll. These spas consistently rank highly across these various platforms, which is why I compiled them here into one easy list.
