I love a good green juice.
I think I first got inspired by visiting the Lodge at Woodloch. I saw on their breakfast menu they had a Kale, Spinach, Cucumber and Apple Juice. I had always been big on smoothies, although I never really put much dairy in those, just blended fruit and maybe some protein powder. I thing carrot was one of the first vegetable juices that I started adding, which makes sense given its a sweet vegetable. But eventually I decided to try a green juice as a way to sneak in some extra vegetables to my routine.
I have since made the juice many times at home, as part of spa-inspired daily living. And I got kind of hooked. I remember traveling for work to Tampa, and I was really missing my daily green. When low and behold, I found a juice bar in the mall next to the hotel – daily greens again.
I even recently found a Kale and Orange Juice at a hotel as part of their breakfast buffet while traveling for work.
Green juices have even made their way on to Instagram pics from some top spas.
